Overview
The USG3000-PK is a software license that enables power-meter measurement on the RF signal generator using a compatible external power sensor (sold separately). With a sensor connected at the DUT, the RF signal generator reads measured power for closed-loop output-level verification and cable-loss compensation. The option is enabled by a software license keyed to the RF signal generator's serial number and is permanent for the life of the instrument.

Compatibility
This option is compatible with all USG3000M and USG3000V RF signal generators. The same capability is offered on other UNI-T RF signal generator families: USG5000.

The option is enabled by a software license keyed to the RF signal generator's serial number. After purchase, the license is registered on the UNI-T website to generate the license file, which is then loaded onto the RF signal generator from a USB drive through the option-install menu. Refer to the RF signal generator's user manual for the step-by-step procedure.
Is the license permanent, or does it require renewal?
The license is permanent — a one-time purchase that stays active for the life of the instrument. No subscriptions, no annual renewals, and no expiration.
