The guitar looks sleek in black and sounds good, but I had a bit of trouble with the setup right out of the box. The action was a bit high, so I had to adjust the string height. Once that was done, it played much better. Just wish the instructions were clearer!

Great guitar for beginners!
I bought the Squier Affinity Stratocaster in black for my son who's just starting out with guitar lessons. The maple fingerboard feels smooth, and he loves the classic look. It's easy to play and sounds great even with a basic amp. Definitely a solid choice for new players!

Disappointed, arrived damaged
I was excited to get the Squier Affinity Strat, but it arrived with a dent on the body. I was really looking forward to playing it. The black finish is nice, but I can't enjoy it when it’s damaged. I’ve reached out for a return. Not happy with this purchase.
