The FS304V is the third iteration in SilverStone FS304 drive cage lineup. Like its predecessors, the FS304 and FS30412G, the FS304V supports transfer rates of up to 12Gbit/s. It sets itself apart with a change in materials and an additional feature of 9.5mm slim ODD support: whereas the FS30412G features an aluminum enclosure and steel HDD trays, the FS304V utilizes a steel enclosure and plastic HDD trays. The primary goal of the FS304V is to offer a budgetfriendly alternative while offering the same performance and reliability expected of SilverStones storage product line.
