Product DescriptionRooted in Mexican and Latin American traditions, requinto guitars are smaller versions of the classical guitar with a shorter scale length and a notably deeper body depth. Our Requinto Series guitars are not only suitable for Tro romntico groups and traditional folk music but are also great instruments for acoustic performances, where amplification is not possible, as they are much louder than a traditional small body guitar. From the ManufacturerOrtega breaks barriers without losing focus on the basics of classical guitar making. Always conscious of the deep traditions of guitar construction, we are not afraid to apply contemporary processes in order to improve the playing experience. Twoway truss rods, 12hole bridges, and a wide variety of scale lengths and nut widths are just some of the ways Ortega is moving guitar building forward in order to make a better instrument for you.
