Description
PicoLoader is a premium open-source ODE modification solution exclusively designed for Nintendo GameCube NGC consoles,
powered by the Raspberry Pi Pico RP2040 microcontroller. It accurately simulates the official optical drive handshake protocol,
allowing the NGC console to quickly boot into the Swiss system and load game resources from mass storage devices.
Compared with traditional hard modification methods, it delivers higher stability, broader compatibility and lower modification
risks.

1. Install the PICOLOADER kit at first.
( Be very careful when folding the cable or installing the optical drive, as too much force may break the cable.)

4. Rename it to ipl.dol
5. Copy the ipl.dol and roms onto your SD card
Features
PicoLoader is an open-source optical drive emulator tailored for Nintendo GameCube consoles,
built with the Raspberry Pi Pico RP2040 chip. It perfectly replaces the original optical drive boot mechanism,
enabling ultra-fast system booting and automatic game launching for NGC devices.
Featuring fully optimized firmware coding, this module drastically reduces the NGC console’s startup time.
It effectively avoids system freezing, black screen errors and loading failures, ensuring stable operation for Swiss launcher
and all NGC game ROM files.
Unlike traditional risky IPL modification solutions, PicoLoader supports coexistence with the factory optical drive.
You can freely switch between physical game discs and digital virtual disk games. The modification is completely reversible
with no permanent changes to the host.
No circuit cutting or high-risk IPL pin soldering is required. Adopting standard interface installation, it thoroughly eliminates
the risk of host bricking, suitable for both beginner modders and professional technical players.
Fully compatible with the Swiss launcher, it supports game resource loading via SD2SP2/GC2SD. It adapts to all regional
versions of NGC game files, perfectly meeting daily gaming needs and game library restoration for NGC consoles.
