The Lumix G X VARIO PZ 14-42mm lens is state-of-the-art thanks to its motorized zoom and prodigiously compact size. The motorized zoom allows you to zoom in with ease, just like a compact, thanks to a zoom button located on the lens. This zoom stands out thanks to Panasonics optical technology, it belongs to the new premium X lens range offering extreme image quality. Comprising 9 elements in 8 groups and 4 aspherical lenses, the engineers created one of the smallest zooms on the market with uncompromising optical quality by minimizing distortion, even at 28mm wide angle. The 2 very low dispersion lenses perfectly correct chromatic aberrations. In addition, the retractable lens allows for extreme compactness, with a size of approximately 26.8mm** and a weight of about 95g, for total mobility. Nano treatment on the lenses helps minimize flare and ghosting. The internal focus system, thanks to a specific motor, avoids changing the length of the lens during focusing. Light Speed focusing is approximately 0.1 seconds*** due to the decrease in the size of the focus lens and its movements.
