An exciting evolution that comes to this lens is the much-anticipated addition of Nikons Vibration Reduction (VR) image stabilization technology. With up to four image stabilization zones*, the new virtual reality of 0.945-2.756 in f/2.8 is ready to capture the dark light of a wedding ceremony or news in the venue, while the tripod mode helps to remove the focus for the landscape shooters. Virtual reality is also a great benefit for filmmakers who move by hand or in a team that appreciates the depth of field of view and precise focusing. The NIKKOR 0.945-2.756 in f/2.8E uses Nikons electromagnetic aperture control, allowing consistent exposures during high speed shooting.
