Your DIY Data Hub: Flexible Micro SD Card Module for Arduino, ESP32 & STM32 Projects.
Key Features & Benefits:
💾 Reliable SPI Storage Interface: Uses the standard SPI protocol for robust communication with Arduino, ESP32, STM32, Raspberry Pi Pico, and more. Extensive library support makes integration straightforward.
🛡️ Built-in 3.3V Regulator & Level Shifter: Features an onboard AMS1117 3.3V regulator and level shifting circuitry. Safely connects 5V microcontrollers to 3.3V SD cards, protecting both your MCU and storage media from voltage damage.
🔧 Flexible DIY-Friendly Design: Headers are NOT pre-soldered, giving you the freedom to install straight or right-angle headers to perfectly fit your project's enclosure and PCB layout.
📁 Broad Micro SD (TF) Card Support: Compatible with FAT16 and FAT32 formatted Micro SD cards, ideal for data logging, storing images/audio, configuration files, or acting as a simple file system.
📏 Compact & Space-Saving: Tiny 18.5mm x 17.5mm footprint minimizes board space after you solder the headers in your desired orientation.
Product Description: Add gigabytes of expandable storage to your embedded projects with this versatile module. Perfect for building data loggers, GPS trackers, audio players, or any device that needs to read/write files. The unsoldered headers offer maximum flexibility for custom integration, making it a favorite among experienced makers and prototypers.
🚨 Critical Usage & Soldering Guide: 【READ THIS BEFORE ORDERING AND SOLDERING】
THIS MODULE REQUIRES SOLDERING: Headers are INCLUDED in the bag but NOT soldered to the board. You must have soldering skills and equipment to use this product. It is NOT plug-and-play.
ABSOLUTE VOLTAGE WARNING – 3.3V ONLY: The module's VCC input must be connected to 3.3V ONLY. Applying 5V to the VCC pin will instantly and permanently destroy the onboard regulator and likely the SD card. Double-check your wiring!
CORRECT HEADER SOLDERING: Solder the provided headers carefully. Ensure no solder bridges between adjacent pins. For best results, insert the headers into a breadboard first to hold them straight while soldering to the module.
LIBRARY & CARD FORMATTING: You will need an SD library (e.g., SD.h for Arduino). Format your Micro SD card to FAT32 (using your computer) with a cluster size of 32KB or less before first use. The module does NOT support exFAT or NTFS.
POWER CONSUMPTION NOTE: The module, especially when writing to the card, can draw up to 100mA. Ensure your 3.3V power supply (e.g., Arduino's 3.3V pin) can handle this additional load, especially if powering other devices.
