I was excited to get this dholak, but it stopped holding its tune after just a few days. I expected better quality for the price. The toolkit is a nice touch, but if the drum can't stay in tune, it defeats the purpose. Disappointed with this one.

I received my GT Manufacturers Dholak and it looks great, but it had a small dent when it arrived. Thankfully it still sounds good. The toolkit is useful, but I wish the instructions were clearer. Overall, it's an okay purchase despite the minor flaws.

Perfect for beginners like me!
As someone who just started playing the dholak, I found this one to be a great choice. The sound is rich, and it's not too heavy to carry around. My only issue was figuring out the tuning at first, but the toolkit helped a lot. I'd say it's a solid starter drum.
