I just started learning the dholak and this instrument is perfect for beginners. The wooden construction gives it a nice tone, and the carry bag is super handy for taking it to lessons. Very satisfied!

Decent, but could be better
While the dholak looks great and has a decent sound, I found the setup instructions a bit unclear. It took me longer than expected to get the tension right. Still, it works fine once I figured it out. Just know it may require some patience!
