Once programmed, the phone will automatically dial the stored emergency number (such as 911 or a family member) immediately upon lifting the handset. No buttons need to be pressed.
Can I program it to call a family member instead of 911?
Yes. You can program the auto-dialer to call any phone number you choose, whether it is emergency services, a private security line, or a caregiver.
Does it work if the power goes out?
Yes. The phone is fully landline-powered and does not require batteries or AC power, so it remains operational during power outages as long as the phone line is active.
Important: Requires an active landline/analog line (or compatible analog port). Emergency call routing depends on your service provider and site configuration.
