This carrier board is specifically designed for the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5 (CM5), transforming it into a fullfeatured application platform for industrial, networking, and edge computing projects. Dual Ethernet for Flexible Networking: Equipped with one Gigabit Ethernet port featuring PoE (IEEE 802.3af/at) input and one 100Mbps port, this board enables routing, gateway, network isolation, and data acquisition applications. The PoE function not only powers the board but also provides 5V/4.5A output via the GPIO header and 12V/2A output via the auxiliary header, eliminating the need for extra power cables in tight industrial cabinets. HighSpeed Storage & Expansion: The onboard M.2 MKey connector supports NVMe SSDs for rapid system boot and highspeed data transfer, outperforming traditional microSD cards. Dual HDMI outputs (4K capable), dual USB 3.0 and dual USB 2.0 ports, and two MIPI (CSI/DSI) connectors for cameras or displays offer comprehensive connectivity for multimedia, testing, and embedded vision applications. Built for Developers: A standard 40pin GPIO header provides compatibility with HATs, sensors, and custom peripherals. The 4pin PWM fan connector enables active cooling, while the onboard RTC battery holder (CR2032, battery not included) supports timekeeping. The batteryexcluded design reduces shipping, customs, and regulatory compliance risks, simplifying global distribution. Please Note: This is a carrier/expansion board for the CM5 compute module. The CM5 core module, NVMe SSD, HDMI displays, USB peripherals, cameras, and fan are not included.
