The Aiphone JK-1MED audio/video master station with picture recording for Aiphone JK Series works with a door station and an optional sub-master station (sold separately) to enable communication with a visitor prior to authorizing access. An incoming call activates the display on the 3-1/2 LCD color monitor to aid visitor identification. Up to 240 screen images can be recorded either manually using the record button or automatically when an incoming call from the door station is received. The audio and video feed from the door station continues to transmit to the master station for 45 seconds if the call is not answered. A call can be answered by either holding down the answering button for push-to-talk action or by tapping the button for hands-free communication with the caller. The video monitor controls allow panning, tilting, and zooming of the 170-degree camera on the JK Series door station (sold separately) to customize the view of the entrance.The door-release button works with an electric strike (sold separately) to remotely unlock the entrance for the visitor. The call button initiates audio communication with a connected sub-master station for remote communication. The monitor button can be pressed at any time to listen and receive video feed from the door station. The chime and audio volume is adjustable. Housing is ABS plastic.
