Description Safety & Compliance

This Primary Charge Roller (PCR) is a replacement component designed for use with specific copier models including 2552ci, 3252ci, 2553ci, 3253ci, 3500, 3501, 4501, 6500, 8000, 3051, 3551, 4550, 4551, 5550, and 5551.The PCR functions as the electrostatic imaging component within the drum unit, transferring voltage to the OPC drum to form an electrostatic latent image. This process affects printing background cleanliness, text density, and color uniformity. The roller features a conductive rubber outer layer intended to maintain consistent resistance during. It includes a stainless steel metal shaft sized to fit the voltage terminal inside the drum unit. The component undergoes treatment to resist oxidation and toner adhesion. The shaft dimensions are manufactured to match specifications for direct installation without modification. Technical specifications indicate compatibility with DK8350, DK8505, and KM4500 series drum kits. The estimated print yield ranges from 120, 000 to 150, 000 A4 pages under standard 5 percent coverage. The operating temperature range is 10 to 60 degrees Celsius.Installation involves disassembling the drum unit holder for direct snapin replacement. This part addresses common printing issues associated with worn charge rollers, such as gray background fog, scattered black spots, faint text, inconsistent print density, and vertical stripes. It is suitable for units where the rubber has hardened, cracked, or lost conductivity. The product is packaged individually in an antistatic bag.Users should ensure the copier power is off before installation and avoid touching the conductive rubber directly.Clean residual toner from the drum holder prior to installing the roller. After assembly, print test pages to verify background cleanliness and text density.Store unused parts in sealed antistatic packaging.
