I installed the IO Crest PCIe dual port card in my ESX server, and it works flawlessly. The Intel X540 controller handles the traffic like a champ, providing 10Gb speeds which make a noticeable difference in our virtualized environment.
I was excited about this card, but it stopped working after just a few weeks. Connections became unstable, which was frustrating. I’ll be reaching out for a replacement, but this was a letdown.
The IO Crest card works well for what I need, but I had some issues getting it recognized by my Linux setup at first. After a few reboots and driver updates, it's finally working strong. Just wish the instructions were clearer.
Using this Ethernet LAN card for my server has been a dream! The Intel X540 controller makes all the difference, and I love the dual ports for redundancy. Highly recommended for anyone needing a speed boost!
Upgraded my home lab with this Ethernet LAN card and it's been fantastic. The 10Gb speeds are a game-changer for data transfers. Just a heads up, the installation took a bit of time, but it was worth it!
