Before You Use Boveda Packs In A Wooden Container, You Have To Season The Wood. Boveda Scientists Tested To Find The Safest, Most Effective Seasoning Method. We Tried Everything From 95% Rh All The Way Down To 32% Rh. At A Low Rh, Seasoning Takes Longer. At A High Rh, You Risk Damaging The Wood. After Trying Them All, We Found That 84% Rh Is Just Right. Controlled, Careful Seasoning Takes Time. Boveda For Seasoning Humidifies Over 14 Days & Drives Moisture Deep Into The Wood. Most Of The Water Vapor Is Released In Week 1. The Rest Of The Time, The Cell Structure Of The Wood Slowly Absorbs The Moisture It Needs, Based On Your Specific Box. Wipe-Down Method Vs Boveda Packs? Do Not Wipe Down The Inside Of Your Humidifier Box With A Wet Cloth Or Sponge. It Doesnt Humidify The Wood. To Fully Season A 100-Count Wood Humidifier Box, It Needs About 100 Grams Of Water, Which 4 Size 60 Packs Achieve.
