The moisture absorber works as intended, keeping my basement dry, but delivery took longer than expected. I was worried it wouldn’t arrive in time for the rainy season. Once here, it did its job pretty well, though!

Effective moisture control for our basement
I bought the DampRid Mega Moisture Absorber for my basement, and it's been a lifesaver! It really does trap moisture effectively, and I love that it’s fragrance-free. There’s less musty smell now, and it lasts a long time too. Definitely a solid choice for large areas!

Okay product, not amazing
It does the job of trapping moisture, but I expected a bit more from such a big container. It’s fine for normal use, but I’ve had better moisture absorbers in the past. It’s a good size, though, for larger spaces.

Not what I expected
I had high hopes for this product, but it didn’t absorb as much moisture as I thought it would, especially in my large basement. It’s better than nothing, but I was hoping for more. Packaging also arrived a bit dented, which was annoying.

Great for larger spaces
I’ve been using the 7.5 lb DampRid in my laundry room and it’s really effective. I love that it’s fragrance-free since I’m sensitive to smells. It pulls a good amount of moisture and I can see it working. Highly recommend for anyone with larger areas to manage moisture!
