With the ToughArmor MB720M2K-B, ICY DOCK introduces the worlds first quadruple interchangeable frame for M.2 NVMe SSDs. M.2 NVMe SSDs no longer have to be installed on the motherboard or expansion cards with tiny screws, but can be conveniently used from the front of your computer without tools. The ToughArmor MB720M2K-B offers an innovative M.2 SSD installation design that makes the normally cumbersome M.2 SSD installation and maintenance a breeze. The ToughArmor MB720M2K-B supports up to 4x M.2 PCIe NVMe SSDs fast-paced PCIe x4 transfer rates of up to 32Gb/s per channel via MiniSAS HD (SFF-8643). It also holds all conventional M.2 SSD lengths from 30 mm to 110 mm (2230, 2242, 2260, 2280, 22110). In addition, in addition to the numerous ventilation openings, each slot offers a particularly efficient aluminium heat sink that ensures that all M.2 NVMe SSDs work in the optimal temperature range even under load. Last but not least, your SSDs are physically protected by the robust metal housing and security locks. A typical M.2 SSD is installed on the motherboard or in an expansion card and fixed by a tiny screw. Installation and removal can be a laborious and time-consuming process. However, with the ToughArmor MB720M2K-B from ICY DOCK M.2 SSDs are placed in the computer front, making installation and removal of M.2 NVMe SSDs a simple and efficient process.
