The UT622C is a professional-grade handheld LCR meter that extends component testing to 100 kHz. Across 100 Hz, 120 Hz, 1 kHz, 10 kHz, and 100 kHz it measures L, C, R, impedance, ESR, and D/Q at 0.1% basic accuracy, with a 4-wire Kelvin connection and included Kelvin test leads for repeatable low-impedance readings.
The higher 100 kHz frequency characterizes parts closer to their working conditions — useful for production QC and design verification — with series/parallel modelling, open/short correction, and tolerance sorting on a portable Li-polymer-powered instrument.

Testing to 100 kHz
Extending the top test frequency to 100 kHz lets you characterize capacitors and inductors closer to the frequencies they operate at, where parameters like ESR and impedance differ meaningfully from their low-frequency values — important for production QC and design verification.
4-Wire Kelvin Measurement
A 4-wire Kelvin connection separates the drive and sense paths so lead and contact resistance don't corrupt the reading — essential for low-impedance components where milliohm-level errors matter. Open and short correction nulls fixture and lead effects before a measurement run.
Full Parameter Set
Beyond L, C, and R, the meter reads impedance (Z), equivalent series resistance (ESR), dissipation factor (D), and quality factor (Q), with series or parallel equivalent-circuit modelling and impedance phase from −179.9° to 179.9° — the parameters needed to characterize a part, not just read its nominal value.
Sorting & Logging
A tolerance-comparison function sorts parts pass/fail from 1% to 20% bands at up to 20 measurements per second, suited to incoming inspection and small-batch QC. Results log to 500 groups and transfer over USB.
Portable Build
A 2.8-inch color display, included Kelvin test leads, and a rechargeable Li-polymer pack good for about 8 hours make the UT622C ready for bench and line use.
