I had some trouble getting the LG GP65NW60 to work on my older laptop. The instructions weren't super clear, and it took a few tries to get it recognized. Once it was working, it performed fine, but that initial hassle was frustrating.

Fantastic DVD drive for backups
I’ve been using this LG external DVD drive for backing up my old photos and videos stored on discs. The M-DISC support is a nice feature for long-term storage! It's lightweight and fits easily in my laptop bag. A solid buy!

Great little drive for movies
I bought the LG Electronics GP65NW60 to watch some DVDs on my laptop. This external drive is super slim and really portable, which is perfect for travel. The USB 2.0 connection is fast enough for me, and the white color looks sleek on my desk!

Works well, but a bit slow
The LG GP65NW60 works as expected for my DVD needs, but I did notice that the USB 2.0 transfer speed isn’t the fastest. It gets the job done for ripping some old discs, just don't expect lightning speed. Overall, it's pretty good for the price!
