I bought the ASUS Chromebook CR12 for my son who's in middle school, and it's been perfect. The 12.2" touchscreen is vibrant, and he loves that it's rugged — no worries about it getting damaged. The battery lasts all day, which is a big plus for remote learning.

Perfect for outdoor use
The ASUS CR12 is built like a tank! I take it out for work in the field, and the ruggedness holds up well in all conditions. The WUXGA display is clear, and I can easily see it in bright sunlight. Definitely a reliable choice for anyone needing a tough laptop.

Solid performance but somewhat slow
The ASUS Chromebook is decent for basic tasks, but sometimes it feels a bit sluggish, especially with multiple tabs open. The rugged design is great, but I expected a little more speed. It’s fine for light use, though.

Sturdy but the specs feel limited
I got this Chromebook for traveling, and while the rugged design is a lifesaver, I wish it had more storage than 64GB. The touchscreen is nice, but accessing files sometimes takes longer than I'd like. Not bad, but not fantastic either.
