The ToughArmor MB852M2PO-B replaces the old CD/DVD ROM with 2 x high-speed M.2 NVMe SSDs. It fits the 9.5mm Ultra-Slim Optical Drive Bay (ODD) and uses M.2 removable trays for effortless drive access and maintenance. It is a perfect storage upgrade solution for custom industrial PCs, rack-mounted servers, and embedded systems.M.2 drive is usually installed on a motherboard or PCIe card and secured by tiny screws. Installing or removing the drive can take a long time, so the M.2 SSD is not the ideal choice for enterprise applications where easy maintenance with minimal downtime is essential. ToughArmor MB852M2PO-Bs interchangeable M.2 drive trays allow you to easily access drives from your systems ultra-thin front optical drive bay without opening the computer case.In order to support M.2 22110 SSD, the length of the MB852M2PO-B is longer than the standard Ultra-Slim outer diameter (159.3 mm). Be sure to check the size of your Ultra-Slim ODD array before purchasing it.
