Using Flush Cutters, Trim The End Of The Boot To Fit The Cable You Are Using. Note That Some Cables Are Thin Enough To Not Require Trimming Of The Boot To Fit.
Slide The Boot Down The Cable.
Attach The Rj45 Connector Per Usual, But Do Not Crimp It Down Yet.
Slide The Boot Back Up The Cable And Push The Rigid Sidebars Into The Rear Of The Rj45 Connector Plug Until Boot And Plug Are Mated Flush.
Crimp Down Your Rj45 Plug And Done. The Boot Should Be Permanently Locked Into Place.&Nbsp;
Tip: Bend The Flexible Anti-Snag Extension Upward So The Assembly Will Enter Your Crimp Tool Cavity.
