A modular design allows users to remove and replace the extruder with ease thanks to the industrys only extruder that attaches magnetically and can be instantly swapped for minimal downtime. Jam detection pauses the printer, allowing for convenient print recovery, while z-homing and leveling sensors enable accurate and reliable build plate leveling. When using PLA filament, the MakerBot Smart Extruder+ is backed by a 6-month warranty.
