Avoid mounting DCPT-2500 into steel posts as it may cause radio signal interference.The DCPT-2500 Transmitter will send a signal to the Dakota Alert DCR-2500 Receiver whenever a car passes by the 10 feet radius. Unlike other detection systems, the DCPT-2500 can only sense large moving metals such as cars and trucks.
