Designed for use with any type of wired lighting, the Leviton Universal Wall Switch Occupancy Sensor, 1800W, Auto On provides automatic control for LED, CFL, incandescent, fluorescent and motor loads. These energy-saving, aesthetic sensors offer a convenient method for managing lighting in any home or business. Set your lights to turn on manually (vacancy) or automatically (occupancy). Either way, the sensor will turn them OFF automatically when motion is no longer detected, saving energy and costs!

The Occupancy Sensor features an elegant style to complement any decor. Its low-profile design eliminates the "scanning device" look of typical sensors, offering homeowners a modern, yet decorative solution for lighting control. Each sensor comes with a white faceplate attached and two color change kits (Ivory and Light Almond) for seamless integration into any setting.
Two Modes for Versatile Application
In Automatic-ON mode, the sensor will automatically turn on your connected lights or motor load as soon as motion is detected within range. When the room is left vacant and motion is no longer detected, the lights will automatically turn off according to your timer setting. The sensor covers up to 900 square feet (30 x 30) with a 180-degree field of view, ensuring adequate coverage for even the largest rooms.
In Manual-ON mode, your lights will only turn on when the sensor's button is pushed. Lights will still automatically turn off to help you save energy. Additionally, the convenient push-button provides manual off control at any time.
The Occupancy Sensor includes a time delay setting, which allows you to delay your lights/motor load from automatically switching off for 30 seconds, 5 minutes, 15 minutes or 30 minutes. For example, closet lighting would ideally be set to turn off after 30 seconds, while a bathroom fan may be set to turn off 15 minutes after the space is vacated.
In addition to its built-in timer, the sensor features a segmented lens to provide optimum sensitivity and performance. It is designed with an extensive "minor motion" area where even slight body movements will be detected. To verify detection is active, an LED indicator light flashes when the sensor detects motion.
This relay-based Occupancy Sensor fits in a standard wallbox and replaces a single-pole or 3-way wall switch. The sensor has screw terminals for easy installation and does not require a neutral wire for connection. It can be used for 120V lighting, and is compatible with both electronic and magnetic ballasts or 1/2 HP loads. The relay switches at the zero crossing point of the AC power curve to ensure maximum contact life and compatibility with electronic ballasts.
