Cross-Connection Point For Data & Telecom
The 8 Port Network Interface Module is rated for Cat5e and supports termination of up to eight On-Q Cat5e cables for interconnection to a local area network or digital data services. It provides a termination point for telephone cable runs when using the 1x8 Enhanced Telecom Module and the 8-Port Telecom Expansion Module. Each Network Interface module has eight 4-pair front-mounted 110 punch-down connectors for connecting to On-Q Home outlets. The punch-down connectors are connected to individual RJ45 connectors, which provide the interface to the LAN. This Network Interface module occupies three vertical inches and half the width of the enclosure.
